The Old Baptist Church at Stratton Green, which was founded in 1751, has been replaced by a new building which was opened by Mrs AW Burston of Swindon.
The picture appeared in October 1934, alongside one of the new church that replaced it in Swindon Road. This one was apparently taken shortly before the old church was demolished
